One of our favourite spots in rhsbridgewater, the Paradise Garden in winter ❄ This space has its origins in the earliest civilisations, taking inspiration from traditional paradise gardens, and cleverly blends Mediterranean, Asiatic and American planting styles into one magical space. The garden walls create a microclimate which allows plants from all around the world to flourish. Find out more about the plants of the Paradise Garden on our website, link in bio. #WinterGardenDays

We are very sad to hear that one of the greatest champions of horticulture, Peter Seabrook, has died. Peter had the most incredible career in horticulture and exhibited at RHS Chelsea Flower Show for decades and was regularly at RHS events, Gardens and Flower Shows. Through his work as a broadcaster, writer and gardener he helped and inspired so many people to garden and grow. As well as raising the profile and importance of horticulture, he was passionate about getting young people gardening. Peter was hugely respected and held the RHS' highest award for services to horticulture, The Victoria Medal of Honour. We will miss him enormously.
A frosty morning in the Foliage Garden at rhsrosemoor ❄ The beauty of the Foliage Garden comes from a contrast of textures, where strong structural conifers and evergreen shrubs are interwoven with lighter and more graceful grasses. This part of Rosemoor shows that you don't need bright colours and plenty of flowers to have an interesting garden - you can do it with shades of grey, blue and silver foliage interspersed by green and occasional splashes of purple. Find out more about this magical part of Rosemoor through the link in our bio. #RHSRosemoor #WinterGardenDays

Happy #NationalHouseplantAppreciationDay 💚 The best thing about houseplants is that you don't have to have a garden to get growing- you can add green to practically every corner of your home. The general rule is that if you have enough light to read a book, you have enough light to grow a plant. Here are our top plants for different light positions 👇 ☀ Aloe Arborescens Cacti and succulents generally come from desert habitats and enjoy hot, dry conditions. If you have a warm, sunny spot, an aloe plant is a great place to start! 🌤 Monstera deliciosa (Swiss cheese plant) Monsteras are a staple in the houseplant world. They do best in partial shade and light humidity, so make sure you have a mister to hand. ☁ Aspidistra (Cast iron plant) This plant gets its name from the fact it’s extremely tough. It will grow in full shade and tollerates some neglect, so it's a great houseplant for beginners. Find out which plants will suit your home on our website, link in bio. You can also catch up on our houseplant series with aey.plant, check our videos on Instagram or visit our YouTube channel to watch all ten episodes! #RHSHouseplant101
